Being Active doesn't just mean doing organised sports or gym.

What are all the ways that you are physically active?

  • Walking or riding a bike

  • Walking your dog (or someone else's)

  • Clean the house 

  • Take the stairs

  • Sit ups in your bedroom

  • Jump and dance to your fav playlist

  • Kick a ball in the park

  • 30 minutes?

  • 1 hour?

The UK department of health recommends that young people should get at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day!

But If you don't have that long all is not lost, you can try HIIT - High intensity Interval training. 

 

Some activitiy can be free & with others, parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
